Every beautiful space begins long before the paint colors and fabric swatches. For me, the most important part of any project is the beginning—the part where I get to know you, your lifestyle, and your dreams for your home. That’s where the vision takes shape.
Here’s a peek into my process, and how I take your ideas from a spark of inspiration to a fully formed design concept.

It Starts With You
Every project begins with a conversation. I want to hear all about how you use your space, what inspires you, and even what frustrates you about your current setup. This isn’t just about creating a pretty room—it’s about creating a space that truly works for you.
I’ll often ask about your routines, what colors make you feel calm or energized, and what pieces in your home you already love. Those details help me understand what matters most to you.
Gathering Inspiration Together
Once I’ve listened, it’s time to look at inspiration. Maybe you have a Pinterest board, magazine clippings, or just a few screenshots saved on your phone. We’ll walk through those together so I can see the styles, colors, and textures you’re naturally drawn to.
Even if you can’t put your style into words, these images are full of clues that help me define the direction of your design.
Translating Ideas Into a Vision
This is where the magic starts to happen. With your lifestyle needs and inspirations in mind, I begin to craft a vision that feels uniquely yours. I pull together textures, materials, and a palette that reflect both your personality and the mood you want to create.
Think of it like painting a picture of your future space—you start to see how the pieces connect and tell your story.
Creating the Concept Board
This is where everything starts to take shape. The concept board isn’t just about gathering inspiration—it’s about refining the vision into a custom design tailored to you. Here, I begin narrowing down the detailed selections: colors, fabrics, finishes, lighting, and key furniture pieces that truly capture the essence of your space.
Think of it as a visual roadmap with intention. Every choice is carefully considered so you can see how the textures, tones, and elements come together in harmony. By the time you look at the concept board, you’ll see your future space brought to life—and feel confident that the design reflects both your style and the way you live.

Bringing It All Together
From there, the vision grows into a fully developed plan. Floor layouts, lighting ideas, material samples, and finishing touches all come into focus. Because we’ve built the foundation carefully, the rest of the design process flows smoothly and stays true to your original vision.
Final Thoughts
For me, design isn’t about imposing a style—it’s about uncovering your style and bringing it to life. Every project starts with listening, dreaming, and shaping a concept that feels deeply personal.
That’s how I take your vision and turn it into something you can live in, love, and feel at home in every single day.
